storytelling for the web

website launch, content strategy & branding

Originally a project of the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, the LeadersTrust has invested over $30M in nonprofits across the nation. It was time for a fresh new look, feel and content strategy that would enable audiences to understand "why leadership?"

COVID campaigns

emergency fundraising concept & launch

COVID-19 brought unexpected costs to HomeRise (formerly Community Housing Partnership). Early in 2020, we launched a COVID campaign, with a series of strategically timed sub-campaigns, to activate donors and funders.

building capacity

Strategy sessions, comms planning & collateral production

Good Samaritan is a 100+ year old Family Resource Center looking to level up their communications in a sustainable way. Together, we've produced an annual report, fundraising campaign, and strategy sessions for a right-sized communications plan.

As a Senior Strategist at Wonder: Strategies for Good, I work on a variety of audience research and messaging projects for nonprofits and foundations, including: San Francisco Foundation, Amnesty International, California Health Care Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Roca, Fresh Lifelines for Youth, East Bay Center for the Performing arts.

building a brand

Long-term branding, messaging, storytelling & fundraising strategy

After 20 years of operating, Family Resource Navigators became a 501c3 and started fundraising like a new organization. We launched a site in 2019 with new logo, branding, and custom photography. With annual reports and donor campaigns, this organization is now exceeding its fundraising growth goals.

responsive campaigns

PR, marketing & fundraising campaign lead

When DACA was at risk in 2017, I was in-house at Mission Asset Fund and helped lead a fundraising, marketing & PR campaign for nation's largest DACA renewal campaign at the time. We raised $4.25M in two months, reached 1M people and got 100 media hits.
